Hate kills if hate is not killed.
Any country which starts major war at present, has no discernment for either its own or other nations future – and the ramifications this will bring to any existing life being affected, both human life, and all others – whether this is nearby or far away.
Both for this generation and next generations, the efforts being put in preparing for war, far better being used to prepare for an enduring and lasting peace, whether this is in Ukraine or the Middle East or anywhere else..
But the Middle East, with the latest attack from Iran on Israel, is at a point of devastating escalation, – if parties not seek a way out. The danger of pride is an escalating tit for tat reaction, which really is not the solution.
In fact ideological differences can be fruitful enough to facilitate creative solutions, – at least to live in the best possible harmony, even when we don’t really like each other. And surely the last can change more positively on the spirit of combined human endeavors, which is hard to see at present.
Human made differences can be resolved by human based engagement – to genuinely remove the hatred being often the root of enduring conflict, while respecting territorial boundaries. The last often the source of friction.
Also this can’t be seen at the moment, because of historical distrust and animosity.
Hate kills if hate is not killed.
Historical hatred and ideological differences have never been good enough to be fruitful, through the generations of innocent people – or bring any prosperity, whether the last is through common endeavors in uncharted territories, to preserve this planet, or simply in terms of trade agreements – with mutual benefit. Ordinary citizens in both Iran and Israel don’t want war.
And this could be at stake, in a crucial time of likely escalating conflict.
In such case a conflict with no end in sight.
Hate and retaliation after retaliation, kills, relentless – and in repugnant ways, and the innocent ones have to endure, and are the victims.
With total war the discussion about territorial boundaries will be completely lost because all people responsible for the perception of those specific boundaries – will perish on self inflicted fires of a total destructive war. In essence it’s perhaps not about boundaries’, but Iran unable to accept Israel.
The point is that humanity has created instruments of war, which, being used, will destroy, both all human spirit and human created infrastructure – to maintain peace and stability. Iran not accepting Israel is a lost and inflated paradigm, based on a very narrow ultra right wing doctrine, the last supporting terror against Israel, while Israel responded against terror in not rarely disproportionate ways.
We have seen this before, but it can get only worse if a potential widespread menace of violence will not be stopped.
As a people we should not be under the protection of a handful of leaders who have no foresight that in the final analysis, protection under the nuclear umbrella – is no protection at all. The only protection being reliable is the discernment and wisdom of leadership – to use power with utterly restraint.
The leadership of Israel will consider nuclear retaliation, if more attacks are imminent.
It’s either we create or destroy, – and in the destruction with modern warfare all visible life can be destroyed on the battlefields of total senseless violence, brutal in nature and violating all human rights and conventions – the last being once established after the terror and brutality of the last 2nd world war.
Weapons we need, but with ongoing destruction we will be never freed.
So let them negotiate a new way to peace being the main outcome of their attention – in the discussions about preventing major conflict, however the last more respectful and considerate than was done before. Abolishing terror from both sides seems the best starting point.
History showed that humanity is never too old to learn, but still young enough to allow the context and contents of relentless violence, – never been shown fruitful on the long run, unless it was used to destroy pure evil, where other means failed. The Middle East has been the domain of wars since the start of biblical stories. And it can’t be true that the destiny of the Middle East is war; it’s the free choice of human beings being the actors in the domain of politics.
The dimensions of peace and war, will be only decided in a small group of powerful people, – elected or not elected,
But let it be known that the powers being created by the intelligence of a few, can’t be allowed to be used by this tiny group of powerful people – at the cost of all living and innocent people in the Middle East. People who care for their children and want a better future.
This applies both for Israel and Iran.
That is where we stand today.
All-out war or de-escalation, is the question
It depends now on the response of Netanyahu.
It’s a crucial time for the Middle East and other countries.
Let’s hope wisdom will prevail, but it seems more in Netanyahu nature to retaliate within some 48 hours perhaps. And not unlikely his response will be strong, adding more to the
very explosive mix of actions and reactions between those countries.
Still, deescalating is the best way forward to prevent a point of no return towards major war. And abolishing terror, by principle, on both sides seems a reasonable perception and starting point.
